Father, I once asked You
To help me spread true joy,
To help me be like butterflies
Offering - enjoy!
I prayed that I'd no longer be
A moth and eat things up;
But that I'd be like butterflies
Bring joy
To many lives!
I said that prayer with all my heart,
Trusting You to help me!
Oh, how You remind me-
Whispering, "I help thee!"

True prayer I prayed so many years ago!!! And truly I hear the Lord say, "I AM helping you!" I believe these poems are me getting to be like a butterfly and not a moth any more!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you my Sunshine! Did you all see why I wanted to be like a butterfly? To offer the world, like a butterfly does, enjoy! Not joy because that is fruit of our born again spirit. But to offer "enjoy!'
ReplyDeleteOur Father!!! Make merry with Him like in Luke 15:11-24 and Psalm 37:4 and the whole purpose John 17:3 :) I wanted to spread "enjoy!" Enjoy Our Father!!! Sin was in the way and Jesus took care of it! Now nothing is in the way for all who will believe! Enjoy :)
