Pretty rose bud, so near Fall,

In season of great change,

The Lord used you to help me see -

A budding change for me!

A promise I have looked for long -

I thought would bud in Spring, 

I looked for it all Summer,

But look what Fall does bring!

My heart has seen my promise bud,

My heart has seen it bloom -

I fill the atmosphere with praise,

I'll soon hold "Promise Bloomed"!!!
