But Something DOES Last Forever

Good news, from the home of
Lezza Kuzzin Poetry
In "Glory" Oklahoma

My winter tree is fading fast,
I'm not sure
How long it'll last!
The pleasures it has given me,
Oh, pleasures, very much!
I know that when it falls on down,
I'll miss it very much!
It's hard to see uprooted things,
And try to plant anew -
In friendships, sweet relationships,
That's even more so true!
In both the signs are very clear,
The roots that held up treasured joy,
Have lost their sweet desire,
And what is left is shedding fast -
It's clear that it won't last!
I can tend to what I see,
But in another, rooted deep,
That I can not tend to,
So somethings I can't keep!
But praise to God,
Oh, "Glory" shout -
A fellowship so true,
An everlasting, sweet desire,
A love that lasts so true!!!
