Dear Father,

I was tempted with this thought,

To take offense -

But NO, I'm not!

I'm learning how to stay in joy,

To not go in the ditch -

No matter how the enemy 

Offers his old pitch!

That's really what it is 

I know -

An old repeated offering

But I am standing strong in love

And praise, Lord, is my offering!!!

Beloved child,

Sweet Wisdom,

That is what I hear 

And as you ever sing Love's song

Victory's your cheer!!!
