Dear Father,
I often think,
No change, no change,
I don't want any change!
But that's not the way it is at all -
There's much that has to change!
Thank You for Your love for me,
Thank You that Your love won't change,
You'll always, always love me!!!
Beloved child,
Indeed, I will,
I'll always, always love you!
Always, always, love Me too,
For I will always love you!!!

Change and Always ... it depends on what is changing and what is always! Still just to even look at those words, "always" has a comfort to it for me and change leaves a wonder. Always has a familiar to it and change has an unknown. Always be my sweetheart, always be my little girl, always be my little boy, always by my friend, always, always, always ... if only all were always! But then with comfort rushing up the Holy Spirit soothes me ... Father will always be with me, Father will always want me, Father will not change at all, He will ALWAYS love me!!! So change must come to all that live and this truth helps me smile - to Father I will "always" be His, and He will "always" be mine - that comfort helps me smile!!!

DeleteAmen! I don't like change either! I tend to get set in a routine and I'd probably stay in that routine unless something makes me change. Ha! I'm thankful that God is the always the same yesterday, today and forever!
