I waited, oh, so patiently

Looking day by day,

Now, this morning, I see blooms -

I didn't give up looking, 

And blooms I see today!

How often have I prayed a prayer,

Planted God's dear Word,

And only looked a little while,

Leaving expectation, 

And missed a transformation!

Open up my eyes, my Lord,

Help me never miss a prayer,

Never miss a blooming seed -

Your help I truly need!!!
