Secure Steps

 

My Father, Your gentleness in guiding me,

Oh, how You lead me on!

The shield of Your Salvation

Makes my steps secure,

 I am standing on solid ground, 

Upon Your Word so pure!

In life down here there's shaky ground,

Confusion all about -

Like rumbles causing open holes

And many fall right in!

But on Your promises I stand,

Oh, in Your Word is solid ground -

You're guiding me and helping me

To stand on solid ground!

You open up my ears to hear

So I will stay in faith not fear!

Your gentleness in guiding me -

To enjoy with You Christ's Victory!!!
