The Comforter In You

Good morning, from the home of Lezza Kuzzin Poetry...

I want to see-
With Your eyes, Lord!
With faith and never fear!
I want to hear the truth and run!
To finish strong-
When my race is done!
Once, I heard a lullaby-
Twas lulled to sleep-
The cradle rocked-
The wind blew hard-
The cradle fell!
Jesus caught me-
Told me tell!
Oh, beloved child, I heard-
Don't fall asleep
In lies so deep!
Don't ere be fooled
 By tempting songs!
For all their words-
Are pretty wrongs!
Listen, as I tell you true-
The Comforter,
I'm here, in you!!!

  1. Oh Debbie, this one is so deep. Not to be lulled by evil's lullaby. Lies don't seem like lies to us when we are believing them, do they? Only the truth of God's Word sheds light that exposes the darkness of the deception.
It doens't matter if you grew up believing a lie as a child. We must grow up in the Word and know who we are in Christ and what we have the authority and power to overcome. We have such a good, good God!

  2. Wow this one is deep! There is soooo much about this one that I like. I like the part,"By tempting songs, for all their words are pretty wrongs" Sooo many of us get all worked up over words in a song. I used to be like that. But I'm filled too much with the truth so it has to be a really emotional day for it to do anything to me now:)I love you
