Longings

Winter can seem very long

You miss the sound-

Of birds-their song!

The honey bees-

Oh, how they swarm!

The moon-

On summer nights so warm!

The breeze-

 That does not cause a freeze,

But brings delight

Both day and night!

Yes, beloved child,

So dear-

The sounds of spring

You long to hear!

I desire something too-

To fellowship

Alone with you!

How I long to hear your song-

Drawing nectar from My Word,

Holy Spirt-

Comfort heard!

Oh, you bring Me such delight!

Beloved child,

Both day and night!!!
