I Need My Father's Eyes

The sun has left the sky tonight,

As far as I can see,

But I won't let darkness fool me,

For Father sees for me! 

Some things I see with open eyes,

Some things, no matter how I stare,

I need My Father's eyes! 

So tonight I'm praying,

To be where I should be -

To never walk into a trap,

But to be where I should be!

Take my sight to all that's mine -

Beloved Father,

Good and kind!!!
