Oh, Father,
There's a girl that I once knew,
A child so full of dreams,
A child that danced in play clothes,
A girl so full of dreams!
A little girl that sang on stage,
Oh, precious her pretending -
That tender, hopeful age!
You know, Lord, that that girl was me,
All the dreams she hoped would be -
Well You have done exceedingly,
Above my many dreams!
You took my childhood hopefuls,
You gave me even better dreams -
You joined me in my spirit,
And now I dance in glory clothes,
Now I dance for You!
I sing on Kingdom stages,
My joyful songs to You!!!
