A Prayer for Beauty and Love

 

 All my efforts to save it,

It kept on getting bare!

Limb by limb it's all died off -

I truly tried to save it!

Lord, help me replace with beautiful -

A beauty that will last!

So when I look out there I'll see,

Beauty where ugly used to be!

Most of all relationships -

Some are all but gone!

No matter my efforts to save them,

Some are really gone!

Lord, help me tend to ones that stay,

 I pray for those who have gone away.

The place within my soul,

Where there's and empty hole,

Grow my memories so beautiful,

Where love will grow, 

Where love will forever grow!!!
