Tender Times

I remember being young,
The piano - I could play!
I never had a lesson,
But I could really play!
I'd move my fingers like I'd seen,
And music flowed and flowed!
I really had a talent then,
For I could so pretend!
Now that I am all grown up
I still pretend to play,
I never took a lesson
But it's still so fun to play!
Thank You, Lord, for simple joys,
For each pleasant, tender time -
For sweet imaginations,
And hearts with You that rhyme!!!
