I've pouted, complained,

I fussed about -

Over missing sweet time 

With my friend!

But the Lord, did remind me,

And showed me so clear -

She's there when I need her -

My friend!

Thank You, dear Lord, 

For the friends in my life,

Thank You for gifts, 

Oh, so nice!

Thank You for fellowship,

Council so dear,

And hearts with ears

That do hear!

Bless my friend, Lord, 

All my friends and family too -

For all good things 

Are from You!
