My Jesus,

As I study out Your life,

I see You needed time alone -

All alone with Father!

You slipped away, you sent away, 

To be alone with Father!

You served with all You had,

Gave Your very life,

You loved us more than any love -

Gave us eternal life!

While You were here upon the earth

You needed time with Father -

Oh, how things just don't go right,

Till I'm alone with Father!!!

Beloved child,

I'm wooing you, 

I'm drawing you so near!

I love to be alone with you

I gave you ears to hear!!!
