Good afternoon, from the home of
Lezza Kuzzin Poetry
In "Glory" Oklahoma
I gave up on a tree today,
It wasn't growing, no leaves at all -
It didn't turn green,
And it didn't grow tall!
I mowed it down,
It had died from the roots,
I wasn't so sure
Till I saw the dead roots!
As I mowed down the tree,
I heard in my heart -
I often hang on when something has died,
I hope and I wish
Yet it's so plain to see -
It's died from the roots,
No fruit will I see!
Lord, give me wisdom
To mow down what's not true -
Help me, yes, You help me,
To water what's true!!!
