Discouragement tried to stop me -

Tried on and on and on!

But You, oh, Lord,

Encouraged me 

WAY MORE on and on!

I look back now, with eyes to see,

That evil plan to keep me down -

But greater are You living inside of me

And I would not stay down!

I rise for You are risen,

I shine for You're my Light,

I tell the truth in love about,

Christ's Victory I shout!!!
