Sweet memories forever pressed,

Enfolded in our heart!

Time, my child, the only thing

That’s keeping us apart.

One day again I’ll see you,

That promise is for sure;

I’m holding on to that-

So sure, so sure, I’m sure!

Heaven’s in my thoughts more now,

The sky is so much brighter,

And I am looking upward,

My child,

I’m looking forward!

Brantley, dear beloved son,

I’ll see you 

When on earth I’m done!

Yes, Heaven’s in my thoughts more now...
