How many times, Lord,
Have I said, "I'm sorry,
I'm so sorry!"
But still I've missed what I should say!
For what I should repent of-
Is I'm not trusting You!
As I go about my day,
When I mess up in anyway-
"I'm sorry for that, Father!"
That is what I say!
But deep within,
Where I'm Your friend,
You're showing me to say,
I'm sorry I forgot to trust!
The true thing I am sorry for,
What stirred my soul to sin,
Is me forgetting Trust You Lord-
Forgetting that, again!!!
Yes, beloved of My own!
Bounce back up and trust Me,
Smile, child,
You trust Me!!!

I got this poem after something happened just like that to me this morning!
ReplyDeleteDoc and I were talking about something small but still it was so important to me... it ended up he said he was sorry for something he said... I tried to tell him why I didn't want him to say he was sorry for that but that I wanted him to say was... * So after he left for work I prayed ( maybe God called it complaining ) and told Father what I was feeling about all of that and He showed me that He thinks like that too! He doesn't want me to say I'm sorry for the action so much as He wants to see if I understand that the real wrong, the REAL heart issue, is that I'm not trusting Him about it!!! Wow!!! What a lesson I got! After I did tell Father I'm sorry for the real thing then He gave me this poem!!! He makes good out of all things ... that Scripture came to my mind just now! :) I just had to share this lesson I got! And since it turned out to be me and not Doc that was wrong I thought I could share it here!!! Love you all sooo very much! Have a wonderful, trusting Father day!!! I sure will!!! xo
That's a great lesson! I had to say I as sorry to Daddy last night! But it was for watching a yucky movie. Ugh! How nice to know that we can say we're sorry and just move on though! I would have felt guilty and had a stomach ache over this before I learned the truth!

Good cranberry! Remember the the Ocean Spray cranberries are chosen for how good they bounce up! I have never forgotten that story!
