America Has Hope...

Father,

My dear Father,

I'm looking at the flag today-

I'm wondering 

What others say!

I hear about the dread to come-

I wonder, Lord,

What we've become?

Will children stand in joy and faith?

Or have they bondage

They will face?

I'm asking You, because You know-

How is America

Going to go?

Will Your children all rise up?

Will the flag wave freedom still?

Dear Father, 

I believe it will!

I believe we'll all wake up!

And with the Truth

We all will sup!

Dear beloved, child of Mine,

Looking at the flag, 

And wondering, 

With hope!

Keep telling of Christ's Victory,

Indeed, that is their hope!

My child, America,

Has hope!!!
