Dear Father,

I saw an old friend yesterday,

We hugged so ever lovingly ,

We each asked, "How've you been?"

But time apart has parted us -

Me and my old time friend!

I wonder at how close we were -

Oh, the way we were!

But now like faded memories -

We're not the way we were!!!

Beloved child,

Rejoice and see,

That's not the way 

With you and Me!

We greet each morning lovingly,

We share sweetly back and forth!

Think, very supernatural,

We never are apart!

I carry you, you carry Me -

Forever heart in heart!!!
