Oh, Look How Much You've Grown...

Good morning, from the home of
Lezza Kuzzin Poetry...

Dear Father,
Sometimes it feels like slipping-
I start the climb of go ahead,
And then I feel I’m slipping!
I know that it’s because I looked,
I didn’t keep my eyes ahead,
I turned around and looked!

Beloved, child,
My very own,
Oh, look how much you’ve grown!
Understanding - look ahead!
Indeed, with Me
You get ahead!
Looking back is slippery,
It isn’t, child, Wisdom
And truly it’s not
Freedom!
Turn your head, look upward!
The world will tell you, slide on down-
But I woo you
To upward!!!

  1. Why is looking forward such an on purpose, "for purpose", effort of focus! Seems like I often need reminded to look not to the right nor the left and don't look back... LOOK FORWARD to where I'm going with Father God!!!
Such peace in looking forward! :) Sweet sleep and I love you all so very, very much! xo

  2. I have to be reminded if that too almost daily! At least now I listen:) I still use your illustration about the airplane when I'm fighting thoughts from the past! I love you Mommy! Another wonderful poem! I know Trinity was having fun but I know we have all had times in life that felt just like that picture. The only thing missing is God's hands catching us everytime!

  3. Ha! That's Leah! :)
Great poem and picture! Another example of how the world is completely opposite to God!! The world says "talk about your past, dwell on it, wallow in it and maybe someday you can move past it"! But God says to give it to Him and move forward! How awesome!!! I had to remember that this morning too. So thankful we have the Holy Spirit to urge us back on track!

  4. Yes, it's little Leah! So sweet!
What a sneaky trick to get us to look to backwards and slip down! The first class I took in college had us look to our past and get healed! HA HA HA the enemy soon mocked at me! That lead me to the biggest pit of quick-sand! The Word of God says the opposite! Look to the Word and believe you are a new creature created in Christ Jesus, old things are past away and all things have become new! Renew our minds to the Word of God and enjoy our freedom in Christ Jesus! Even today, after so many years of renewing my mind, the enemy still tries to get me to look to my past to find an answer for my future! Now I say- HA HA HA! No way!!! I belong to Jesus and He's The Only Way!!! I love you girls so very, very much and I'm so thankful you know the truth so early in life!!! Love 4ever, mommy xo I'm praying for you :) of course! xo xo xo xo

  5. Oh my goodness! Lish and I just got through talking about the past. Well my past & I knew to stop but kept doing it! It doesn't affect me the way it used to but still not what I want to be speaking & giving our time to! So glad I got in here & read your comments! No more talking about the past! Time for new memories & great talks!!! I love you all!

That's funny! I thought it was Trinity! Lol she looked too little to be Leah!
