Good morning, from the home of Lezza Kuzzin Poetry...
What is it you are thinking on-
What is it, child- you see?
Are you thinking- seeing old?
Think youthful! Youthful- see!
The heart has power to project!
My Word will show you what to keep-
And what thoughts to reject!
Make sure! Make sure-
That we agree!
Take thought- The Blessing!
Agree with Me!!!

This reminds me of a news report I heard years ago- a hundred and ten year old man was being interviewed and asked what it was it he would like to tell the world with his 110 year wisdom. This is what he told- at 35 I had a vision of something to do but I thought I was already too old so I didn't take any action. At 45 an opportunity came up again to begin my dream but I was even older so I took no action. In my late 50's it arose again, an even better plan but I just could not begin at that old age! Then many more times I had a deep longing and more opportunities to begin my vision in my heart but I just knew I was too old! I was WRONG!!
ReplyDeleteI missed it all my long, long life because I was soooooooo wrong!
He said he wanted the world to know that they should consider that they might not die young they might just be beginning life at 70 or more! That came to my mind as I received this poem this morning!
Most of you that follow here are very young- As for me- so am I!!!
I sure did need this adjustment in thinking this morning!
Thank You Father - Oh, sooooooooo much!!! We won't think wrong!!! Christ in us the hope of glory!!! We want to think like YOU!!!
Love you all so very, very much! xo
I just reread the scriptures, the poem and note above- Most of the time you hear preached- you never know when your life might be cut short so you better be prepared to die - Once you receive Christ you are prepared to live 4ever in Him- With Him!!! Here and there! How wonderful of Father to remind us to be prepared to live, also! To live the Blessing and declare His Glory -His wonderful works! To live the eternal, abundant, Kingdom life that Jesus got for us!!! Mature in Christ but remaining youthful for His purpose and to enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteMy body may say, OH! :(
But my spirit- it says GO!!! :)
My soul says- I am not a fool!! :)
So spirit -you will rule!!! :)

That was fun! xo
I like that! I really have been working on my thoughts lately and not dwelling on anything that isn't good, lovely, etc. And I am looking forward to what God has for me when I'm the young age of 50 something and have my kids all grown!
ReplyDeleteI have told my kids over and over that I will be the most active grandma they've ever heard of. I do see myself spry and agile and balanced and adventureous way up into my 80s and 90s. I can't wait. I'm getting better every decade!
ReplyDeleteAmen! I agree! We've only just begun!!! xo
ReplyDeleteI needed this one more then you know. I know I am young but there is something that happens to you when you first get into your 30's. It's when we feel like we have to start acting mature and start seeing changes in our bodies that we thought would never really come. You all might think I'm crazy but I'm sure you all felt the same way. But I need to remember I am young and my life has only just begun and this poem and your comments have made me feel that way. Thank you I love you
ReplyDeleteOh, my Sunshine! I do remember so well how it felt to be 30 something! I had to start bringing food to the meals at church! ha! That was just one thing that changed! Yes, you are very young and have only just begun! Me too- and I'm your mom! :) Thank you for the comment! I needed it too!
ReplyDeleteLove 4ever, mommy xo
And Me too. I have only just begun - to live the right way - the young way. It feels so good to know that I can work along side my grandkids - & outwork them in many cases. I'm not falling for those lies that you have to "act your age" over 65 and Andrea, I do remember thinking that you had to change the way you dress and act after 30. That is depressing. The reassurance that we are young is such freedom and joy. Thank you God. sg
ReplyDeleteAmen! You are a wonderful example of being young inside and out!
ReplyDeleteSuch an encouragement to me and to many of us! We are so thankful for you! Youthful freedom and joy! Yep! That sure says it about you!! I agree- you've only just begun! So thankful to get to enjoy this Kingdom life with you!
You are a blessing and we thank God for you! Love you so much! xo
Thank you for your comments! Makes me feel soooo much better seeing you all so beautiful and youthful. Seems life just gets better with age. I love you all!
