I need to renew my license, Lord,
For if it does expire
To take a test
Is the require!
I'm so thankful in Christ I'm free,
No test to take,
Forever free!
There's no expiration date,
I live by Blessing,
Forever's date!!!
My child,
Ever mindful
That Love does not expire!
So good to be so thankful,
Thankful should not expire!!!

Sad that sometimes we let our thankfulness expire! I need to remember not to let it! :) So much to be thankful for right now!!

Definitely a lot to be thankful for. A lot of painful memories were flooding my mind last night trying to get me down but I stopped them right away & thanked God that this time & year is blessed. We all go through awful times but God carries us through them. So thankful i know now not to dwell on them & enjoy now! I love you Mommy
ReplyDeleteKnowing that we are suppose to choose our thoughts and cast down the bad ones is sooo comforting! I remember not knowing that and thinking I should think about the past and try to figure out how to change my present! It only brought my past into my present! Being in God's Word and thinking about David and Goliath ... Noah and the Ark ... all the many examples of God being for us and what believing Him came to!!! Thank You Jesus!!!

OH, what a wonderful day I had and I'm still having it!
ReplyDeleteJust got a wasp sting while working in the garden and as I cried ouch my precious husband came running to me with prayers of faith and tender love and care! Sooo very kind! God made good out of that for me!!! My hero :) So wonderful when our husbands are so loving like that!
I'm going out to swing and watch it turn dark in the country ... all the cows and calves are just 10 feet away from me grazing ... so peaceful!
Sweet sleep ... I saved the poem for something about tomorrow!
